LOCO COP First Draft of Intentions

With up to 10 members, the obligation of each member is to promote the content of another member on a highly active blog or forum. It is up to the member asking for promotion to recommend a blog/forum that will result in the greatest exposure. The promoting LOCO will join that forum and casually promote the content in an active thread preferably.

The promoting LOCO must agree that the content is high quality. To that end LOCO members may wish to submit articles for review prior to posting. I am sure no one that has received an invitation would mind a little proof read on occasion.

The initial submission of content to blogs/forums should be slow. Overly whelming sites is proving detrimental to a number of CP’s. The gradual submission should allow LOCO members to evaluate the impact and fine tune submission techniques to blogs/forums.

I you haven’t heard, Michy was banned (permanent or not I don’t know) from Digg. I have heard of a number of complaints about AC submissions at various sites. That is the goal of LOCO COP, to avoid overloading sites with blatant self-promotion.

There is great potential in this method if properly implemented. The Florida Sportsman Forum is one I am involved with that has huge views and fits a good deal on my content. Each LOCO COP should find forums that fit the majority of their content.

It is beneficial for each LOCO COP to have an active blog. If only AC referrals are made, the unsuspecting mass we are attempting to instill with new literary culture may grow suspect. By mixing referrals to AC and blog posts that are only high quality, relevant content, LOCO COP’s should be able to create a buzz, with out suspicion.

The invitations have been sent to a diverse group of writers. As each is notified they will be given the link to this post. So fellow LOCOs let’s brainstorm and refine in the comments below.
